Douglas Carlson is a Rubberized Asphalt Technologist with over 25 years in the rubberized asphalt industry, focusing on market development. He is a member of AGC, APWA, ASCE, ASTM, NAPA, TRB and Rubberized Asphalt Foundation providing insights to the development of specifications that can beneficially reuse recycled tire rubber in asphalt. He was previously the Executive Director of the Rubber Pavements Association representing members of the rubberized asphalt industry worldwide and currently serves as the Vice President of Asphalt Products for Liberty Tire Recycling since 2010. He resides in Phoenix, AZ and is a Veteran of Desert Storm with the USMC as a combat engineer and bulk fuel specialist.
