Presenting the Tire Recycling Foundation at the 2024 Traction Summit

John Sheerin, Sr. Director of End-of-Life Tire Programs at U. S. Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA), and Dick Gust, CEO of the Tire Industry Association (TIA) delivered a keynote presentation focused on the newly launched Tire Recycling Foundation (TRF) during the 2024 Traction Summit. Their presentation highlighted how the TRF will serve as a crucial platform for funding and advancing projects that bridge gaps in tire recycling technology and infrastructure. This pioneering initiative, launched in collaboration between TIA and USTMA, aims to revolutionize tire recycling through targeted research, education, and innovation. The TRF’s mission includes enhancing tire recycling markets, fostering collaboration, and achieving 100% circularity in tire management. With an impressive Board of Directors, including leaders from across the tire industry and environmental sectors, the Foundation is poised to drive significant progress.
