Robert Radulescu, Ph.D., is Executive Fellow for Truck Tire Research at Michelin Group, where he brings more than 32 years of global experience in truck tire R&D. He holds a B.S. from Rutgers University and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois. Over his career, Dr. Radulescu has led major research, development, and industrialization initiatives across North America and Europe, serving in multiple technical and departmental leadership roles. He is a recognized expert in truck tire design, tire connectivity, circular economy solutions, and mobility technologies for zero-emission vehicles, with additional work extending into advanced applications such as space exploration. He has led international collaborations with governments, universities, and OEMs, and holds more than 35 patents in the U.S. and Europe, along with several publications in SAE journals.
